Have continued with meditation over the week.  As I experienced in the past, and as I expected, I’m not really getting anywhere in it.  My mind needs to be constantly refocused - nearly every second.  But that’s not really the point.  As also in the past, the regularity of performing the task, making time for it, making it a “practice”. also has its own calming rhythm.  

The act of meditating, is not actually “meditating”, any more than the act of digging is striking a spring of water.  But one does not occur with out the other.

I have started trying to memorize some more passages as the ones I know seem a bit worn.  Hopefully this will help.
